The Lumadrop Art Kit Story

Over 20 years ago, I woke from a vivid dream that revealed to me a single small piece of art hanging on a wall. The details of the art stuck with me, and I became determined to bring it to life. ​My bedroom turned into a makeshift studio as I experimented with materials and techniques, reverse engineering the illusion-oriented, 3-D art that was so real in my brain.

Eventually, I created a few mixed-media pieces that felt close to that vision—works that, looking back, were the earliest forms of a Lumadrop. One of those pieces caught the eye of a prominent art collector, and before I knew it, I was on my way to becoming a working artist.
​
Since then, I’ve spent years refining my process, creating hundreds of works that now hang in homes and collections around the world. But recently, a new idea took hold: sharing this unique process with others. That’s how the Lumadrop Art Kit came to life.
The kit includes everything you need—materials, tools, a Quick Start Guide and access to online instructional videos—to help you create your own one-of-a-kind piece of art. My hope is that the experience is not only fun and rewarding but also sparks your imagination, encouraging you to explore your own creative path, and bring to life the art of your dreams.​
